To honor the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. the PTA will be facilitating monthly acts of service starting in January of this school year. We will be collecting items to put together Hygiene Kits for Connections for the Homeless. Please send in items to Walker prior to Jan. 17, 2023. The scouts will assemble the kits on Jan. 17th from 6-7pm and community members are welcome to come to school and help.
The following items are needed for the kits:
- Soap
- Shampoo & Conditioner
- Hairbrushes & Combs
- Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Floss, & Mouthwash
- Deodorant
- Skin Lotion & Moisturizer
- Lip Balm
- Wet Wipes
- Disposable Washclothes
- Hand Scrub Brush & Nail Clippers
- Razors & Shaving Cream
- Socks
