PTA membership is a simple way to stay connected, support Walker, and have a voice in our school community.
All caregivers, teachers, staff, and community members are welcome to join.
Annual Dues
Annual dues are $10 per person and help cover required PTA membership fees.
A no-cost membership option is available. We never want cost to be a barrier to participation.
Why Join?
PTA members can:
- Vote on PTA decisions and budget allocations
- Run for Executive Committee positions
- Serve as committee chairs
- Help shape PTA priorities for the school year
- Stay connected to what is happening at Walker
You do not need to be a PTA member to attend PTA events. We hope to see you either way.
Meetings and Voting
We encourage members to attend monthly PTA meetings when they can.
Per our bylaws, voting takes place in person. Proxy and absentee voting are not permitted.
If you cannot attend meetings regularly, you can still stay connected. Meeting agendas are shared in advance, and meeting highlights and approved minutes are posted on the Walker PTA website.
