Walker PTA is a volunteer-led group of caregivers, teachers, staff, and community members working together to support Walker students, build community, and strengthen the school experience for every family.
We help bring families together, support teachers and staff, coordinate volunteers, fund student experiences and school improvements, and create opportunities for families to connect with one another.
Whether you have one hour, one idea, or more time to give, there is a place for you in PTA.

Get Involved
You do not need to attend every meeting or take on a big role to be part of PTA. Families help in all kinds of ways — volunteering at events, joining a committee, supporting staff appreciation, helping with spirit wear, organizing behind the scenes, sharing ideas, or simply showing up when they can.

Our PTA Network
Walker PTA is a member of the Evanston/Skokie Council of PTAs, the umbrella association for school PTAs and PTSAs in the area served by School District 65 and School District 202.

Walker School History
Walker School has a meaningful local history. The granddaughter of David E. Walker once purchased spirit wear from us and shared news articles about how the school was named after her grandfather.
