Serve as the point person for ESCAA donationsβpartner with Lost & Found on sorting/labeling, share donation guidelines, and coordinate drop-off runs throughout the year.

Coordinate fundraising programs and partnerships (Dine-to-Donate, Spiritwear, and similar efforts), and support the overall fundraising calendar.
πΏ Garden Committee β Sylvia Kim Kilcullen (Open)
Oversee seasonal garden care, planting/maintenance plans, and student-friendly garden activities as opportunities arise.
π International Night β Cecilie Broch Ryan (Open)
Organize International Night: coordinate participation/booths, volunteer needs, communications, and event flow.
π Little Library Steward – Tara Whitaker
Ensure both Little Libraries on Walker property remain fully stocked on an ongoing basis.
π§₯ Lost & Found β Tara Whitaker, Lauren Martin and Stephanie Maloney
Keep Lost & Found organized and coordinate end-of-cycle handling of unclaimed items with ESCAA.
βοΈ PEP Representative (PTA Equity Project) β Liz Ribeiro and (Open)
Represent Walker at district-level PEP touchpoints/meetings, share updates back to the exec committee and PTA community, and support PEP initiatives/events as scheduled.
π§Ί Rummage Sale β PTA Exec Board
Manage the rummage sale end-to-end (collection, sorting/pricing, sale-day operations, and wrap-up) with volunteer coordination.
π Teacher Appreciation β Sarah Trulley
Plan appreciation moments/events (especially around parent-teacher conferences and Teacher Appreciation Week), coordinate volunteers, and organize optional contributions.
π Walker Fest β Erin Ellison & Amanda Hulse
Lead Walker Fest planning: vendors/partners, activities, volunteer coordination, communications, and day-of execution.
π· Yearbook β Darlena Simmons and incoming (Open)
Own the yearbook timeline: photo collection, page coordination, vendor deadlines, ordering, and distribution.
Roles marked (Open) have an opening now, an additional volunteer needed, or are chaired by a 5th grade parent who will be moving on to Chute next year!
