Dear Walker Community,

We know WalkerFest is a highly anticipated annual event at Walker Elementary and for our community at large. This year WalkerFest was scheduled for this coming Saturday, November 4th. At this time, due to a range of contributing factors, the PTA executive committee and event leads have all agreed it best to postpone the event. We are all confident that it will best serve Walker and our families to consider holding the event later in the school year.

We will still hold the raffle and the proceeds from it will support Walker Enrichment Scholarships for students as planned. The PTA is working with Ms. Lumpkin and Ms. DiMarco to determine the best way to acknowledge all the students and families who have participated and to announce the winners of raffle prizes. More information on that will come.

We’d like to thank everyone who has supported WalkerFest so far and are looking forward to rescheduling it. We are grateful for your continued support and understanding.
