Due to the air conditions and forecasted storms we are rescheduling today’s Walker Kindermixer for Thursday, July 6 at 5:30-6:30pm at Timber Ridge Park. You can also join us for third meet up on Saturday, August 12th at 10-11am at Timber Ridge Park.

Summer Kindermixers for 2023-2024 Incoming Walker Families
PLEASE JOIN WALKER FOR OUR 2023 KINDERMIXERS!
Come join us for casual meet and greets for incoming Kindergarten students and their families. It’s a great chance to hear from our welcoming Walker community and meet some fellow classmates before the first day of school!

Need Volunteers for PEP Fest: Saturday June 3rd, 11-5pm
Walker PTA will have a booth at PEP Fest where kids can color in a banner saying “thank you” to D65 teachers and get some Walker spirit wear as well. We need volunteers to take a shift at the booth to make the day a success. Please consider coming for an hour to volunteer (bring a friend or your student) and staying another hour (or more!) to enjoy all the great activities! Walker Garden Needs Help Watering During Summer
The school garden area has been transformed this year thanks to so many volunteers! Students have been experimenting with winter sowing, planting seeds, vegetables, and flowers, learning about worm castings (!), planting trees, and engaging with nature.
Please consider signing up to help water sections of the garden during the summer months. It’s the ONLY way a school garden can survive and thrive. An hour commitment for a big reward. Click here to sign up!
