The Willard Hispanic/Latine affinity group would like to connect with other Spanish-dominant or bilingual families at Walker:

• Dear families, I am looking to connect with Hispanic, Latin or Bilingual families that live in north/west Evanston, with the goal of building a community and network that can support and help each other, while at the same time share and celebrate this beautiful heritage with our kids. K-4th graders can pre-order 2023-2024 Yearbooks. Save 10% if purchased by Oct. 31: go to
https://web.treering.com/validate, enter our school passcode: 101507041679653. No Need to order one for your 5th graders, the PTA will provide yearbooks for all 5th graders!

Get ready for big smiles! Picture day for all students is on September 22nd. You can pre-order
prints on mylifetouch.com with your student ID or Picture ID: EVTKCXFNW. Please do NOT have
your child wear green (a green screen will be used so an option of picture backgrounds can
be selected when photos are printed). Don’t worry if your student is absent on the 22nd, there
is a picture retake day on Nov. 3rd.

Join us for our first PTA meeting of the new school year! We will be meeting in person in the Walker garden right before our Parent & Caregiver Meet and Greet. We will present and vote on this year’s budget. We hope to see you there!
