Tuesday is Walk to School Day! Students should gather on the Central Park Tennis Courts beginning at 8:50 am. Our buses will drop off students there as well. Classes will walk together to school. Parents and siblings are welcome!

There will be supervision at Walker that morning if you do not want your child to participate/are running late.

Come join us for this month’s meeting! We will be meeting in the Walker Cafeteria from 6:30-7:30 pm. Registration for 4th & 5th grade Flag Football and Cross Country is open via Eventlink (www.eventlink.com, families must create an account before registering) and it closes on Oct. 6. Please join the Garden Committee for a Fall Meet & Greet on Saturday, September 30 with *donuts and cider* (please RSVP for proper headcount). It will be our first gathering to help with fall clean-up, share ideas and questions, and build our *new shed.* All are welcome (students, extended family, siblings, etc.). You don’t need to be a formal committee member. On Sunday, October 8th from 1-3pm at the Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center there will be a Halloween Pop-Up Shop. The shop is open to any and all Evanston families. It has new and gently used Halloween costumes and accessories free of charge, on a first come first served basis. There are hundreds of costumes in all sizes, from toddlers to adults, so there’s something for everyone. Come check it out!
