We are taking orders for spirit wear items (some new and some previously sold designs)!

All orders must be placed by Monday, November 18th. The PTA will email invoices to all customers starting on 11/19. If individual payments have not been received by invoice deadlines, those orders will not be placed. Customers will be emailed once the spirit wear has arrived and it will be available for pickup at school before Winter Break.

We need your help! This year Walker is participating in the WCE Holiday Craft Bazaar. We will be creating potpourri sachets to sell at the Bazaar on Sunday, November 24th from 11:30am – 4:00pm. The fundraising will benefit Walker School’s contribution to Northwestern’s Dance Marathon. This year, Northwestern University Dance Marathon’s (NUDM) primary beneficiary is Children’s Home & Aid’s Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Center, located in Evanston. The Rice Center provides therapy and works to support children in foster care who experienced abuse and neglect. By connecting them to supportive, loving families, Children’s Home & Aid strives to restore their hope and emotion stability.

We will be assembling the potpourri sachets right after school on November 7th, 2019 at Walker at 3:35 pm. Children and adults are all welcome to help.

We will also need help at the Bazaar on November 24th from 11:30am – 4:00pm. We need 2 adults plus at least 2-3 children per 1 hour shift. The children are important in promoting our fundraiser and luring people in to buy our sachets.
