PEP (PTA Equity Project) is hosting a WALKER ONLY Townhall meeting about the ONE FUND initiative on Monday, 11/2 from 7pm-9pm.Please attend this important meeting. We need to hear from all of our community. Please come with your thoughts and questions about the One Fund initiative. PEP Town hall Presentation 10/21/20:

Hello D.I.M.E. Families, 
We are hosting a  Halloween Dance Party on Saturday Oct. 31st from 1:30-2:30pm. This party will be virtual and open to all families. We encourage everyone to wear their costumes and bring a friend! Our goal with this event is to raise funds towards D.I.M.E to keep our studio open for our students. 
*THIS EVENT IS FREE* Due to COVID we will no longer be passing out candy for our students.

The next student supply pick-up will be on 10/28 and 10/29 from 2:30-5:30 PM. All students will receive the following:

• Next Module/Learn Eureka workbook
• Sleeves for math templates (could also be used as a dry erase board)
• Class specific items

On October 21st, join parents and caregivers across District 65 in learning more about the ONE FUND initiative! The PTA Equity team will host an informative virtual townhall to share more details about this initiative and how it will support students across the district.

The PTA Equity Project (PEP) was founded in 2016 on the basis that all students and families in District 65 should have equitable access to the important enrichment and community-building opportunities that PTAs provide, regardless of the school they attend.

DATE & TIME CHANGE: This month we have to shift our monthly meeting. It will now be next Thursday (Oct. 22nd) at 8pm. We hope you can join us! We’ll be meeting on-line via Zoom.

The reason for the shift is the PTA Equity Project (PEP) Committee is holding a Town Hall on Wednesday (Oct. 21st) at 7pm to present the One Fund initiative to the District 65 community. If you are available, we strongly urge you to attend the town hall to learn about One Fund. We will be voting at our November Walker PTA meeting on if the Walker PTA community will participate in the initiative.
