Seeking volunteers to help plant trees at Walker on Saturday, May 6, 10 am – noon! Volunteer tree planting experts from Natural Habitat Evanston will be there to help us plant the trees properly, so no experience necessary. Adults and children welcome. Join PEP Sunday, May 7th for our Teacher Appreciation Chalk The Walk Caravan!
Calling all Evanston/Skokie community members! “Many hands lead to light work” and the PTA Equity Project needs your help to say thank you to all of our outstanding D65 teachers at ALL 18 of our D65 schools! The Teacher Appreciation Caravan will begin at 1pm at Orrington School, where we will kick-off our sidewalk chalking, and decorate our cars for our journey! Our caravan will cheer & honk our way across District 65, stopping at each school to leave sidewalk chalk messages for the teachers.

*Some car decorating materials will be provided. Please bring some of your own and extra if you can share. Noise makers, streamers, balloons, window paint, are all appreciated.

La Semana de Agradecimiento a los Maestros es del 8 al 15 de mayo
¡Únase a PEP el domingo 7 de mayo para nuestra Caravana de Agradecimiento a los Maestros Chalk The Walk Caravan!
¡Llamando a todos los miembros de la comunidad de Evanston/Skokie! “Muchas manos conducen al trabajo liviano” y el Proyecto de Equidad de la PTA necesita su ayuda para agradecer a todos nuestros destacados maestros del D65 en TODAS las 18 escuelas del D65. ¡La caravana de agradecimiento a los maestros comenzará a la 1pm. en la Escuela Orrington, donde comenzaremos a pintar con tiza en las aceras y decoraremos nuestros autos para nuestro viaje! Nuestra caravana animará y tocará la bocina a lo largo del Distrito 65, deteniéndose en cada escuela para dejar mensajes con tiza en la acera para los maestros.
