Honor Your Favorite Teachers! Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10

Foundation 65’s Honor a Teacher program allows us to say thank you to educators who have been working so hard for all of our children this year.  

Educators who are recognized with a donation in their honor will receive a digital card from Foundation 65, including your name and a personal note.*

Your gift will support Foundation 65, an independent grantmaking organization that invests in educator-led initiatives to support educational equity.

*Gifts must be received by May 5 in order to send a personal note. The gift amount will not be shared publicly with the teacher.

Join us on Saturday, April 6th from 2:00 to 3:30 PM at Fleetwood-Jourdain for the 5th annual Cardboard Carnival Showcase. We invite you to come play cardboard games designed and created by our youth.

THE CARNIVAL IS COMING TO TOWN! Head to Fleetwood Jourdain, April 6th from 2-3:30pm to take part in playing all the amazing games designed and built for the Cardboard Carnival Challenge.  Participants will be showcasing their games and everyone can try them out. There will be a raffle, the final prizes for the challenge announced and more!  Make sure to register today. All ages. 

This event will be held at the Fleetwood Jourdain Community Center at 1655 Foster St, Evanston, IL 60201.  

The Cardboard Challenge is made possible by a Project Next Generation Grant from the Illinois State Library
