Walker offers three fabulous tutoring programs: Everybody Reads,Math is FUNdamental, and Kindergarten Literacy Partners. These programs support individuals and small groups of students to give their learning a needed boost. As a tutor, you will receive training and all the materials you’ll need to get started. The time commitment is about an hour each week with students from one classroom during school hours. It’s amazing how big of an impact a little bit of your time can have on students’ academic growth!
Everybody Reads (a one-on-one reading fluency program, grades 2-5)

Math is FUNdamental (a small group math with games program, 1st grade)

Kindergarten Literacy Partners (a small group reading fluency program, kindergarten)

Trainings for Everybody Reads and Math is FUNdamental occur at the JEH Building, 1500 McDaniel Ave. All new tutors must complete one training session and a background check. To register for a training session, email fluencytutors@district65.net.
