Foundation 65 Benefit – Friday 1/27

We hope some of our Walker friends will come out to support D65 Foundation at their upcoming Benefit.

img_0513aJoin us for a celebration in support of Foundation 65 and public education in Evanston/Skokie School District 65.   The My 65 Benefit will take over Smylie Brothers Brewing Co. for an evening of food, music and a celebrations of literacy and arts.

The event will feature a spoken word performance by District 65 middle school students with Kevin Coval, poet, author, artistic director of Young Chicago Authors, and founder of Louder Than A Bomb: The Chicago Youth Poetry Festival.

Proceeds from the My 65 Benefit will support literacy and arts programming that impacts students across every school, including Evanston Speaks: Youth Poetry Project. Evanston Speaks responds to the rising interest among middle school students in the poetry slam movement and creates opportunities for them to write, share and perform their poetry.

REGISTER TO ATTEND

Regular registration – $85 per person (Includes admission for one and one drink).

Friend of the Foundation – $250 (Includes admission for two, donation to Foundation 65, program listing and two drinks)
