As some of you know, I’ve been heavily involved in the Cub Scout Pack 922 (when my son was here at Walker) and now with Boy Scout Troop 924 since he has crossed over with middle school.

Kassi, my daughter, has been begging me to join a Girl Scout Troop. Most of the current Girl Scout Troops in Evanston are not accepting new members due to over saturation.

So, I’ve decided to start a 3rd grade Girl Scout Troop at Walker. Yay!!

I’m looking for any and all 3rd grade girls who are interested in Girls Scouts and I’m hoping that one mom will co-lead with me.

We can go through the training together and work out the details.
