Congratulations to the Walker Chess Team

Congratulations to the Walker Chess Team, who are bringing home not one but two trophies!

In the K-1 championship section, the Walker team won Second Place in Evanston, outperforming Dewey, Orrington, Chiaravalle, and King Arts! 

In the 4-5 championship section, the Walker team won Second Place in Evanston, outperforming Dewey, Chiaravalle, Oakton, and Lincolnwood! 

The Walker chess team members also won numerous individual awards.

• In the K-1 championship section, Emin Bilgic won First Place in Evanston!
• In the 2-3 championship section, Adrian Horopciuc won Third Place in Evanston!
• In the 4-8 reserve section, Dominic Riberio won Third Place in Evanston! 
• In the 4-5 championship section, Yusuf Bilgic won First Place in Evanston, Ari Gassel won Second Place in Evanston, and Norman Yao and Liam Corr shared Third Place in Evanston!
