We invite you and your leadership teams to attend next week’s very special meeting of the PTA Council.  As part of our commitment to equity work and the importance of ensuring all families are included and engaged in our school communities, we have asked Ismalis Nunez, D65 Family & Community Engagement Coordinator, to facilitate the meeting.  She will also be sharing some of the common themes she learned through the Community Conversations and Parent Advisories on Black and Latino Student Achievement meetings last spring.  Ismalis is a dynamic and engaging speaker, and you are sure to be enlightened by her insights and take away some valuable strategies you can implement at your school.

Please make sure your PTA leadership is represented at the meeting!
